June 2010

June was full of fun once again.
With hotter weather settled in for the summer
we did a bit more indoors.

We played at the Explorations Children's Museum.
Joey enjoyed shopping in the little people's grocery store.
It must have been an urgent trip to the store for milk.

We did take time to look at the frozen foods though.

But in the end it was really just a trip for a jug of milk.

Look out here comes fireman Joey driving the fire truck.

We had fun showing cousin Shannon around town.

But we liked relaxing at home with Shannon too.

Cousins are fun.

Joey likes his baths.

A bath sounds good, how about now?

Whoa! I'm gonna get what cut?

Ms. Penny at the Harmony Barber Shop in the Magic Kingdom
giving Joey his first haircut.

All done now. No tears, lots to play with, it was fun.

That was pretty good.

More plants are growing.

Hmm. Yeah. I'm stuck.

Yup, stuck.

Want a kleenex mom?

Or two or three or more?

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

OK, yes dad I had help with that one.
They wouldn't take my ID.

May 2010

May brought more fun and more firsts.

We went to a Lakeland Flying Tiger's baseball game.
It was Joey's first time going to a baseball game.
It was fun, but it was very sunny and hot!

Joey watched mommy plant some things in dirt,
in pots on the patio. Little plants grew from seeds.
We watched them and watered them often.

Joey got his first kiddie pool to play in, in our back yard.
Joey loves to play in the water!
He like splashing and throwing water toys.

Having a kiddie pool to play in made it nice
to be outside when it was hot.

After playing outside in the hot weather it was good
to come back inside and eat blueberry
frozen yogurt that mommy made.

April 2010

April was full of fun!

We played at the park, the weather was getting warm
and it was nice.

I like sliding down the big kid slide at the park.

Playing is thirsty work.

How many ways can I climb out of this thing.

Daddy took me to the Harley store.
How do I look, not the best choice for my first set of wheels?
Hmmm OK.

My first trip to the beach!
Sand and water all in one place, wow who knew.
I like the puddles and the shells.

I see more water!

Are shells to eat?
Wow, mom you caught me, guess not.

I think I like it here.

The water comes towards me then runs away,
a little like me when I play.
Sometimes the water brings seaweed to me.

Easter!
The Easter Bunny filled my Easter basket
with all sorts of good stuff.

The Easter Bunny hid all sorts of treats around the house.
I hunted and found them all. I put them in a basket.

I got Duck Feet to wear when I read my
"I wish that I had Duck Feet" book.

March 2010

March started out as a fairly quiet month for us. We had several visitors in February so we were content to do some playing around home early in March.

Sometimes playing is part dress up.
Like wearing a hat like daddy, or climbing all over daddy.

Sometimes playing is getting into strange places
and finding your way back out.

We did have a really fun visit near the end of the month.
One of mommy's best friends from junior high and high school
and her family stopped by for a surprise visit.
We were very glad to see them and be able to catch up.

Joey went to his first Easter Egg Hunt.
Some were skeptical that he wouldn't understand what to do.

He figured out that he was supposed to pick up the plastic eggs.

Putting the eggs into the basket took a little convincing though.

Joey had a lot of fun running around and climbing up
and down the stairs.

At the end of the month we spent a day with friends at WDW's
Animal Kingdom. What a nice way to wrap up the month!
